According to security sources, Pakistani forces successfully targeted and destroyed several key Afghan Taliban positions, including:

The strikes were carried out underĀ Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, which was launched in response to what officials described as unprovoked aggression by Afghan Taliban forces and their supported militant elements along the Durand LineĀ .
Security sources reported thatĀ over 30 Afghan Taliban fighters were killedĀ during the fierce engagement, marking one of the most severe border clashes along the Chaman corridor in recent monthsĀ . The escalation began when Pakistani forces foiled an infiltration attempt byĀ Fitna al-KhawarijĀ militants attempting to cross into the Kurram sector from Afghanistan's Nangarhar and Paktia provinces, allegedly under Afghan Taliban supervisionĀ .
After the infiltration attempt was thwarted, Afghan Taliban forces openedĀ indiscriminate fire on Pakistani border postsĀ using heavy weapons, mortars, and other arms.
